Supplement makers play “Fast & Loose” with the confusing term “Whole-Food” (WF) in at least a couple of different ways. Whole-Food implies that the nutrients, like in nature, come bound-up within the “Food-Matrix” so they are better absorbed because of a “synergy” with other nutrients within the Matrix (and various other reasons). But that WF label can mean several different things if we’re talking about trying to get a minimum amount of nutrients to make up something that is even close to being a “Complete” Multi-Vitamin/Mineral.
